'Audio Earth // Chapter 1' World release
Beginning in the early 21st Century, Zachary desired to bring a community together to bridge storytelling which outlined narratives of classism, racism, politics, gender and youth. Zachary reached out to storytellers Oreo Jones, Laura K. Balke, Sagan Victoria Stier, KC and Whitticus. The outcome resulted in a sound-novel titled ‘Audio Earthʼ. Zachary compiled pieces of artwork using a collection of malfunctioning 4-track recorders, outdated synthesizers, and antique instruments. These music pieces were captured in flooded basements, small closets, bedrooms, delicately assembled, disassembled then sculpted to form. The vision pulled in Robert Lugo of DBB Records for recording services, then was mastered at Russian Recording by Mike Bridavsky. Many moons later, the album has been liberated, re-imaged and in-turn, re-mastered by Aaron Marshall.
In the coming years, ‘Audio Earthʼ will be released in individual “Chapters” that will take the listener through the human condition. Each chapter will center itself around cross-genre makeups and will jump to multiple mediums to experience.
