'Party Of Darkness' : A Horror Anthology Film

Over the year, I was asked to create original music for a unique horror film. This film was cohesively designed and sculpted using multiple short films. The powerful narrative arch merged everything together in such a unique way that helped pave a central theme through the conduit of story telling. I was brought in to compose the films main character’s origin story titled ‘IXCHEL’. Exploring sonic sounds using such instruments like a 1900s pump organ, a 1940s vibraphone, large string and brass sections, a Celeste, harpsichord (and many other instruments) allowed me to unearth a strange, somewhat mystical and magical sound that became the foundation of the film.

‘Party Of Darkness’ is currently circulating film festivals here in the states and beyond! Visit the links below for more information:

‘PARTY OF DARKNESS’

“A group of horror movie fanatics and an uninvited goth girl, Heather, get stuck in a cabin in the woods with no internet and no movies to watch. They resort to telling spooky and sometimes silly stories around the campfire. But the gang find themselves in a REAL terrifying tale when they realize Heather has manipulated them into opening a portal to hell, prompting an epic finale with demons, a knob goblin and a cauldron full of baby batter.”
